A knit dress by JUNYA WATANABE COMME DES GARCONS. Produced in a gray marle cotton jersey with polyurethane added for stretch, the dress has a low v neck which can be opened further via three buttons at the front and will sit slightly off centre due to the cut of the dress. The dress also has dropped armholes, which will cause the soft jersey fabric to bunch up on the body. Further asymmetry is created below the back neck, where a portion of the fabric has been gathered together and then sewn in place with a piece of black elastic. This causes the dress to twist significantly, so that it will sit at an angle and bunch up in places against the body. The neckline is finished via a narrow self fabric band, with wider bands of the same gray marle at the armholes and hem.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, with minor wear.

Shoulders: approx. 43 cm (hard to measure exactly due to construction of dress).
